Minecraft in education

Minecraft in the classrooms

Minecraft has great potential for use in education for these three reasons:

  1. Being an open world creativity can fly, and our students can build anything, even mechanisms.
  2. It is a multiplayer  game and therefore facilitates team, cooperative and project work. Playing is not isolating, it is teaming up, supporting each other, having fun, completing adventures and building together.
  3. The game can be modified to the point that a teacher could design an adventure focused on the theme of their subject to create a story or laws through which the student can learn content of the curriculum.
